The taskbar should still be the color you chose. Click on the Start button to verify the Start Menu is back to the default color. The steps below demonstrate how to set the custom color and change the registry setting to only change the Taskbar color. If you only want to change the color of the taskbar in Windows 10 but not the Start Menu and Action Center, you will have to change the setting in the Registry as the there is only one checkbox to change these colors in the GUI. Windows 10 has many settings available although separating the Taskbar color and Start Menu color is not available in the GUI.
